Cagliari have completed the signing of Angola international M’Bala Nzola from Fiorentina in the final moments of the transfer window.
The 30-year-old striker has agreed a one-season contract with the Sardinian club, who also hold an option to extend the deal for a further year. Cagliari confirmed the agreement after negotiations were accelerated and concluded shortly after 18:30.
Cagliari’s hierarchy had identified Nzola as a priority target as they sought to add more firepower to their squad. His arrival gives head coach Fabio Pisacane another experienced attacking option as the club look to strengthen their forward line.
