NWFLPremiership: Edo Queens continue Robo's mysteries

In Lagos, it was another unfortunate day for Robo Queens in their match day three fixture in the Nigeria Women's Football League Premiership against Edo Queens on Wednesday.

The Lagos Landladies who sought a first after a loss and a draw were on the back foot twice before eventually loosing by two goals to nil.

Rebecca Ajimuda scored as Edo Queens took the lead in the first two minutes of the game for the away side in the 7th minute.

However, U-17 Star Girl, Opeyemi Ajakaye drew level before the end of the first half to cancel out the visitors early lead.

In the second half, the cagey encounter continued, but it was the Monday Aduku's girls who would later have the upper hand.

Yemisi Samuel with the goal in the 72nd minute to put Edo Queens back in front.

As seconds go into minutes, it became obvious were the pendulum will swing as it ended after 90 minute, Robo Queens 1-2 Edo Queens.

With the result, Edo Queens are now joint second with Adamawa Queens in group B with six points each a point adrift group leaders, Nasarawa Amazons that have seven points.
