NWFL Premiership: My dream is to take Edo Queens to where I took Bayelsa Queens - Moses Aduku

Edo Queens Coach, Moses Aduku has expressed his desire to repeat the feat he had achieved with Rivers Angels with his present team.

Aduku who won the Nigeria Women's Football League with Bayelsa United has led the Benin Landladies to four consecutive wins which puts them top of group B standings.

Their last win coming in their last away game against Ibom Angels where they triumphed 2-0 courtesy of Rebecca Ajimuda's first half brace on Wednesday.

“Well we thank God for this victory, it can only be God. It was a good outing for us, we had our chances and took them,” Aduku told media.

“I know we were coming to face tough challenge because for a team to loose at home means that they would come into their next home game with vigour and determination. So I actually expected a tough game.

“This is just the fifth game of the new season, it is not enough to write off any side, for Ibom Angels, they also tried. They are not a push over side they gave us a good fight. Now that this match has come and gone, we are going back to our base to prepare for the next game.

“I left Bayelsa State for Edo because I wanted a new challenge. My dream is to take Edo Queens to the stage where I took Bayelsa Queens. I want to achieve results, so we are working very hard to ensure we meet our target.”

Edo Queens will knock horns with Abia Angels at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium Benin City on Wednesday, the 11th of January
