WHO WINS THE LAGOS DERBY? Ikorodu United and MFM FC will clash in what is the first Lagos derby in the top flight at the Onikan Stadium in 20 years. The two teams have enjoyed contrasting fortunes since the start of the season. MFM have fared better winning three out of their four opening games, while Ikorodu United have secured one win from three games. It will be interesting to see who goes home with a win on Sunday.

WILL OGUNBOTE HAUNT SHOOTING STARS? Gbenga Ogunbote will return to Ibadan for the first time since quitting his post as head coach of Shooting Stars at the end of last season. The soft spoken gaffer was instrumental to the former league champions maintaining their top flight status last season steering them to the half of the table after taking over from the sacked Franklin Howard. Giwa FC will hope his knowledge of the 3SC side will help pick a positive result at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba on Sunday.

BOTTOM SIDES SEARCH FOR FIRST WINS The quartet of Heartland, Sunshine Stars, Nasarawa United and El-Kanemi Warriors are the only teams without a win in the Nigeria Professional Football League this season. They will hope to end the drought this weekend even as they have tricky ties to negotiate. El-Kanemi are up against champions, Enyimba, Heartland will host log leaders Lobi Stars, while Nasarawa United face Rivers United. Sunshine Stars will do battle with FC IfeanyiUbah in Akure.
