Bendel Insurance secured their first win in the NPFL Dozy Mmobuosi Foundation Super Cup tournament after Thursday's win over Rangers International at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, Onikan, Lagos.
The Benin Arsenal came back from a goal down to get maximum points over a struggling Rangers International in a 2-1 encounter.
Elijah Ani drew the first blood in the 43rd minute giving Rangers some sort of respite and a hope to secure first win of the competition.
But unfortunately that was not to be as Insurance's Dede Moughara's free kick aimed at goal takes a deflection before landing in the net to equal things before half time.
In the second half, Insurance got the goal which earned them victory as after Nnaji handled in the box.
Benjamin Tanimu stepped up and scores from the spot for Insurance to go in front.
Rangers pushed for the equaliser as they bring in a couple of players to salvage the situation, but the Benin Boys held on for the win.
Insurance and Rangers finish third and fourth respectively in the four team round robin competition.
Enyimba and Shooting Stars will play the final at the same stadium on Friday at 4pm.
