Remo Stars Coach, Daniel Ogunmodede has spoken of his unhappiness at the result got by his team in their match against Nasarawa United on Monday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Tactician was left displeased at the attitude of his players in their 2-0 loss at the New Jos Township Stadium.
He questioned how effective they were in following instructions which gave them what he called an unfavourable result which was not a good way to end the first phase of the Nigeria Premier Football League 2022/2023 season.
"This isn't a favourable result for us. Nasarawa United got early chances and took advantage of them, while we didn't take ours when we had them.
"It's not a good way for us to end the first stanza of the league campaign, but we take it in good faith with the hope to turn around the situation during the second half of the league season.
"I wouldn't say my boys didn't play to instructions, they weren't just efficient enough carrying out instructions, neither did they show enough dedication and enthusiasm until we conceded those goals.
"We are conscious of the position we are now, not good for a team like ours. We had opportunity to end the first stanza among the top two teams, but it's unfortunate this is where we are."
The league returns in March and Ogunmodede and his boys will seek to correct the grey areas of the team as they seek to make the super six cut.
