Lobi Stars goalie, Emmanuel Daniel has been rewarded by his outstanding performances on Sunday as his club share the spoils with Rangers International at the Awka Township Stadium in Anambra, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.
Special adviser to the Governor of Benue State on Media and Publicity, Terver Akase rewarded Emmanuel Daniel with the sum of Twenty Thousand Naira (#20,000) for winning man of the match in Lobi Stars matchday 12 tie against Rangers International FC.
Mr Akase while congratulating the goalkeeper for his outstanding performance that secured an important point for the Makurdi-based side, assured the players of a sustained gesture, noting that, as a top supporter of the club, he will always contribute his quota for the success of the club.
He said the initiative is part of measures that would spur the lads to redouble their efforts to secure a playoff ticket at the end of 2023 abridged league season
The beneficiary, Emmanuel Daniel who is also a former goalkeeper of Rangers International expressed happiness to receive such a huge gesture from a man of goodwill, adding that, it would spur him and his teammates to do more and prayed God to reward him abundantly.
