NPFL'23: Doma United coach plot Niger Tornadoes in Gombe

Following their wonderful performance at the Akure Township Stadium on Wednesday where they picked up a valuable point, Doma United coach Akinade Onigbinde has now turned attention to their next league game against Niger Tornadoes at home, Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.

Onigbinde who admitted that picking one point against Sunshine Stars was a very difficult task, said plots to beat Tornadoes has been perfected adding that winning the game will boost their chances of playing in the Super 6.

"We work towards it and play according to the game plans and that's why we succeeded in picking one point at Sunshine. It was a very tough match because Sunshine Stars are a very good side.

"We now shift our focus on beating Niger Tornadoes at home. We have some of our players resting for the home game because of fatigue we kept some of our players resting.

"We don't want to derail from our target of playing in the Super 6. With the way we take one match after the other, everyone remained focused on getting positive results in this second stanza of NPFL.

Singing the praise of Doma United's owner, Onigbinde said:  "Alhaji Umar Suleiman, the owner of the team is really trying for the team and working hard so that we can get results. On the area of funds, he has done a lot for Doma United."
