Published on: 01 October 2016

Enugu Rangers are beginning to maximise the commercial potentials of their imposing status in the domestic and continental football.

Nigeriasoccernet.com reports that the Coal City Flying Antelopes have flooded the markets here in Enugu with the club's replica jerseys and other branded? souvenirs.

The authentic Enugu Rangers shirt is not being sold for a cheap fee as it is going for as much as N5000.

"We put it up for sale since Tuesday but the response has been very poor because people say the price tag is on the high side," Foster Chime, spokesman of Enugu Rangers

"For that reason, we are looking at the possibility of effecting a reduction in price, but we have to speak with the Commissioner for Sports first."

One of the sales girls who does not want her name in print told completesportsnigeria.com at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium that the jerseys are of foreign quality.

"Yes, they were made overseas . The price is just for the shirts as their shorts are not yet available " she explained. credit: completesportsnigeria
