“And for a start I want to win my first game after wedding against Sunshine Stars on Wednesday in Makurdi.

“I have pleaded with teammates to do me that special favour by coming up with their best performance to win the clash.

“Again we have a new coach, Solomon Ogbeide who will take charge for the first time so we owe him, teeming fans, management and government a good welcome with resounding result.

“The clash is the last match on the first stanza calendar and we want to end it on high with convincing performance even though we have not been perfect on home ground.

“Sunshine Stars are already in town with a lot of confidence but we are quite certain they will fall at the end of matchday proceeding.”
