NPFL Transfer: The Alimis join Shooting

About a week a go we, announced that experienced striker Sikiru Alimi will he reuniting with his former gaffer at Remo Stars.

Yes, that happened, but we can report that Skiru came with his brother Adebayo Alimi, a former defender at MFM FC.

Consequently, the two brothers will team up with the Oluyole Warriors as the 2022/2023 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) is set to kick off in no distant time.

Skiru, a former Lobi Stars forward had moved to Darnes Derna SC in Libya, but following the expiration of his contract he returned to Nigeria.

He also played for Remo Stars last season where he scored nine goals in fifteen league matches. He played in Tunisia too for Stade Tunisien.

While the news of Adebayo who terminated is contract with relegated MFM is just been made known, he played for Shooting Stars in their triumph over Enyimba last week in the NPFL Dozy Mmbousi Super Cup Preseason tournament.

The Alimis join the company of brothers who have featured in the NPFL club like the Olisemas, Gatas, Obajes and the Okoros.
