Niger Tornadoes have signed former home-based Super Eagles defender, Bright Esieme, from Enugu Rangers on a loan deal for the rest of the current season.

The right-back has struggled for regular playing time at Rangers this season under Gbenga Ogunbote, and has decided to link up with the Minna club for the second stanza of the campaign.

The 25-year-old who joined the Flying Antelopes from Enyimba in 2016 was a member of the home-based Super Eagles team that came third at the 2014 African Nations Championship in South Africa.

Tornadoes announced the defender’s loan signing along with three others on Tuesday.

Three other players; Moses Ugwu Igwe, Yahaya Yusuf and Kingsley Ajana also joined the club on loan for the rest of the season from Ijayapi Rocks, Jigawa Golden Stars and Sokoto United respectively.

Hamza Abara’s led side who currently sit in second position in the NPFL table are unbeaten in their last nine games.
