Published on: 22 April 2016

Rangers will host Nasarawa United in a week 13 fixture at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, Enugu on Friday.

The encounter is one of the nine games scheduled to hold in  the Nigeria Professional Football League this weekend.

The Flying Antelopes, who have a hundred percent record at home so far this season and have scored in eight consecutive matches in the league, will look to maintain their impressive form.

They will look up  to their top scorer, Chisom Egbuchulam, who has scored six goals in the campaign, and his strike partner Godwin Aguda to help them achieve victory once  again.

Nasarawa  United have lost all their away games this season, but have improved lately since their exit from the CAF Confederation Cup.

Kano Pillars will be without their injured captain Gambo Mohammed for the visit of Shooting Stars Sports Club to the Sani Abacha Stadium on Sunday.

3SC have failed to pick a point on the road and head into game on the back of their 1-0  defeat against Nasarawa United in a rescheduled game on Tuesday.

In Umuahia, MFM FC, who ended their four-game winless streak  last weekend with a 1-0 win against Wikki Tourists, will be up against Abia Warriors.

The home side have tasted defeat only once this season.

League leaders FC Ifeanyiubah face a tricky away fixture against Wikki Tourists in Bauchi.

At the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri, Heartland will face a Sunshine Stars side unbeaten in their last seven games.

The Naze Millionaires will welcome back goalkeeper Emmanuel Iwu and Emeka Atuloma back from suspension, while the duo of Chidiebere Ajoku and Brown Okpus are fit again after their recent injury troubles.

Lagos-based outfit, Ikorodu United, will seek to end their nine games winless streak when they travel to Maiduguri as guests of El-kanemi Warriors, while Plateau United will welcome Rivers United to the Rwang Pam Stadium.

Warri Wolves have another chance to continue their resurgence under Dutchman Ard Sluis when they file out against Giwa FC at the Warri City Stadium.

Niger Tornadoes, who kept a clean sheet for the first time in eight games in last weekend's 2-0 win against Ikorodu United, are up against Lobi Stars in Makurdi.
