NPFL: No Miracle For MFM As Tornadoes Boot Them To The NNL

The journey of Lagos based MFM FC in the Nigeria Professional Football League officially ended today following their 2-1 home loss to Niger Tornadoes in their adopted Dipo Dino Stadium Ijebu Ode, Nigeriasoccernet can report.

In another North Central derby, Kwara United smashed Nasarawa United 3-0 to keep continental hopes alive.

The victory for Kwara means they are just a point behind Remo Stars who currently occupies the last continental spot.

Wikki Tourist steer clear off relegation zone by beating former league champions Akwa United 2-0 in Bauchi.

A weekend as predicted and with two match days left, the battle for relegation and last continental ticket remains up for grabs.
