NPFL LaLiga U-15 Promise: Defending champions Beyond Limits seal quarter final qualification with second win

Remo Stars Beyond Limits Football Academy have qualified to the last 8 of the Nigeria Premier Football League U-15 Promise tournament after win over Plateau United, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

BLFA defeated Plateau United U-15 team by three goals to nil at the Remo Stars Stadium on Monday in their second group A fixture.

Yusuf Opeyemi, Fawaz Sulaimon and an own goal secured a all points for the defending champions.

Opeyemi opened score as early as the 8th minutes after beating his marker in the box to give Remo the lead.

It remained a cagey affair until the half time whistle was blown to signal the end of the half at 1-0.

Sulaimon doubled the lead for the reigning champions after a right footed shoot in the 34th minute as the Sky Blue Stars juniors started the second half with the right momentum.

The Jos Boys pulled one back in the 49th minute after a defensive mishap by the Remo Stars boys to make the score 2-1.

In the 56th minute, Akanji tried to cross the ball to his teammate from the left hand flank, but a Plateau United defender directed the ball into his own net.

The score remained 3-1 at the blast of the final whistle as Remo Stars Beyond Limits go top of group B with 6 points out of 6.
