The Interim Management Committee (IMC) have postponed the the next two league matches of Nigeria Professional Football League Champions, Rivers United, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Rivers United’s request for postponement has now been granted by the IMC and so will not be playing this weekend in the matchday 15 of the league against Wikki Tourists and matchday 16 against Doma United a week after.
This is due to their involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The PortHarcourt based side will face Young Africans of Tanzania at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Sunday in the first leg of the CAF Confederations Cup quarter-finals.
A week later, the Pride of Rivers will at the Benjamin Nkapa Stadium, Dar es Salaam to play the return leg.
