Rivers United technical adviser Finidi George has expressed his disappointment at his side's inability to convert their goal-scoring chances in the 1-1 draw against Sunshine Stars, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Timothy Zechariah gave Rivers United an early lead, but the visitors failed to capitalize on several opportunities, allowing Sunshine Stars to claim a point through Promise Awosman's equalizing goal.
Finidi believes that if his team had been more clinical in front of goal, the outcome of the match would have been different.

"Had we converted our chances, maybe the outcome of the result would have been different," Finidi told Rivers United media.
The draw saw Rivers United drop to second position in the league table.
They will look to bounce back when they host Kano Pillars at the Adokiwiye Amiesimakai Stadium in Port Harcourt.
