Finidi emphasized Enyimba's commitment to fair play, stating they aim to win matches through proper means. He criticized the inconsistency in officiating and questioned the fairness of the league's environment.
"We should expect better officiating. When a clear penalty is not awarded, it raises questions about the integrity of the game. Is it necessary for the home team to always win? Every time we face these issues, we talk about improving the league. Despite the loss, we believe we had opportunities to win the game.
"We are focused on our upcoming home game and aim to secure a fair victory. Enyimba does not engage in deceitful tactics. As we navigate through this crucial phase of the league, witnessing such incidents is disheartening. It reflects poorly on those entrusted to uphold the standards of the game," Finidi lamented.
Meanwhile, the ensures the league title holders dropped to third with 48 points, one less than Remo Stars in third place.
