NPFL: Enyimba's CAF engagement necessitates postponement of Pillars clash

The highly anticipated clash between Enyimba and Kano Pillars have been postponed by th the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The match day 14 encounter which was initially slated for Sunday, December 1, 2024, has been postponed to an unconfirmed date due to Enyimba's engagement in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage fixtures.

In a statement issued by the league organizers, the NPFL assured fans of both clubs that a new date and time for the iconic encounter, popularly referred to as the "Zobia Clasico," will be communicated in due course.

In a related development, Kano Pillars FC's Matchday 13 away fixture against Lobi Stars has been brought forward to Saturday, November 23, 2024. The match will now take place at the Lafia City Stadium, a change necessitated by adjustments to the league calendar.
