Nigeria Professional Football League club, El-Kanemi Warriors is working around to clock to get a new head coach which is to be announced after the National Election. Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Makurdi based club yesterday dismissed Abubakar Hassan Mai Zubairu following a poor run of results which has kept El-Kanemi rooted to the bottom of the group A.
As one of the ways of arresting the bad situation of things, Chairman of the club, Sheriff Bukar in an interview Daily Post revealed that a suitable coach will be appointed after the general election.
“You can see it’s election time now. But I can assure you we will appoint a good coach for the team after the election, ” Bukar stated.
El-Kanemi Warriors are winless in their last seven games, losing six and drawing one.
