Bendel Insurance of Benin remain on unbeaten in the 2022/2023 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL after securing a one all draw against Plateau United in Jos on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The league group A leaders were heading to their first defeat of the season after going behind in the second half before Echeta's header made sure the spoils were shared at the New Jos Stadium.

It had taken a late strike by Imade Osarenkhoe for the Benin Arsenal to equal score in Aba a fortnight ago against Enyimba.

This time when Chimezie Izuchukwu scored for United in the 43rd minute following poor communication between Insurance goalkeeper and player, it seemed the day for the invisibility of the Benin side will come to an end.

However, in their usual fashion, Insurance rallied back after gaining a slight momentum in the game.

Deputy Echeta headed in the ball after a goal mouth scramble to restore parity for the visiting team in the 72nd minute.

That goal eventually made sure their unbeaten streak increases to 12 as they remain remain top of the group A standings.
