Rangers head coach Fidelis Ilechukwu has declared that the Flying Antelopes will treat their remaining Nigeria Premier Football League games as cup finals, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Flying Antelope  secured a four-point lead at the top of the standings after a commanding 3-0 victory over Bayelsa United on Sunday.

“We shall approach our next set of matches like cup finals as the season is getting tougher every week,” Ilechukwu stated as par Daily Post.

Reflecting on the win against Bayelsa United, he said, “It was a good game with a good result from my boys.

“It would have been more embarrassing for our opponents had we been able to convert begging chances, but we keep working till the end of the season to ensure we realize our set target.”

Rangers are the first team to hit a record 19% win rate away from home whilst scoring the most number of goals (46) in the NPFL this season.
