NPFL Clubs U-15 Promise: Enyimba FC up and running in first game against Insurance

Enyimba FC defeated Bendel Insurance to kick start their season in the 2023 Nigeria Premier Football League Clubs U-15 Promise on a high, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Enyimba FC under 15 side won by three goals to one at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun state on Friday morning in the group C encounter.

Chineberem Eze opened score for the baby Peoples Elephants three minutes before half time to end the half 1-0.

In the second half, the young Benin gunners' equalled score from the penalty spot through Enobakhare Osaigbovo in the 43rd minute.

However, Gabriel Nwankwo would give Enyimba the win after restoring the lead four minutes later, consolidating the win with his second of the game in the 56th minute to end the tie 3-1.

Gabriel Nwankwo was announced as the man of the match after the match.

The win keeps Enyimba top of the group pending the match between Dakkada FC and Wikki Tourist U-15.
