Nottingham Forest Owner Claims 'All' English Managers Are Corrupt in Explosive Video

Published on: 20 October 2016

Nottingham Forest chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi has launched an attack of all British managers claim they are corrupt.

The Kuwati owners has claimed that bosses in England "take under the table a lot"? and are "brokers"?.

The interview was captured live by a Kuwait TV station, despite Al Hasawi himself urging caution throughout before making them anyway - with the "?Sun acquiring the video this week.

He said: "Problem is we are on TV and everybody can see us and translate what I am saying. The British coaches are good but all of them take under the table a lot. All of them are brokers."?

The interview was broadcasted on 22nd March but has only come to light this week. That was six months before the newspaper sting that saw Sam Allardyce lose his job as England manager when he offered advice on third party ownerships of players.

FA chairman Greg Clarke has been in the limelight and been called into the House of Commons to be questioned on corruption within football.

Al Hasawi, is on the verge of selling Nottingham Forest, but has hired and fired eight managers during his four-year spell at the City Ground.

One of his former managers, who remains unnamed, said: "I don't know where he is coming from. He needs to go into details and come up with some sort of proof rather than random statements."

The newspaper has shared such information with the FA, EFL and LMA and the club itself, but an EFL spokesman said: "We will be sourcing an independent translation of the statement made in the video clip and once we fully understand what has been said and in what context, we will determine what course of action needs to be taken, if any."?

The Championship club last night declined to comment.
