The Reds say the injury sustained against South Africa in a World Cup Qualifier will see him sidelined for a period of time.
The defender picked up the injury in the tenth minute of the Super Eagles' 1-1 draw against the Bafana Bafana on Tuesday.
Ola Aina is reported to be ruled out until December and will miss next month's World Cup Qualifiers against Benin and Lesotho.
His involvement in the 2025 African Cup of Nations, scheduled to hold from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026, is in doubt.
