NNL: Malumfashi Fc hand Kano Pillars first loss of the season

Malumfashi Fc has defeated former Nigeria Premier Football League side, Kano Pillars in the Nigeria National League, NNL on Friday night, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Kastina based team ended the winning streak of the Kano based team after a one nil win in the match day 3 fixture.

Williams Michael scored the only goal of the encounter in the 30th minute to give Malumfashi their first win of the season.

The Sai Masu Gida side had not lost prior to the game after starting the season with two wins against Sokoto United (0-1) and Kebbi United (3-0).

Kano Pillars remain top of the Northern Conference A3 log pending the Kebbi United versus Zamfara United game on Saturday.

While Malumfashi Fc are third with three points after two matches.
