NNL: InterLagos at the verge of securing Super 8 slot

InterLagos FC are at the verge of securing a playoff ticket in the Nigeria National League matchday 19 fixture after earning an away win over Crown FC on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Pride of Lagos defeated the Ogbomoso side 2-0 at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan to put themselves in pole position to take the last ticket of the Super 8.

Sanni Ibrahim opened score for the Lagos side in the first half before birthday boy, Segun Owoade put to game to bed a minute before regulation time.

With the result, Inter now need to win their last home match at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Lagos against Ijebu United to seal their place in the NNL Super 8 scheduled for Enugu State.

They will join Madiba FC, Elkanemi Warriors, Nasarawa United, Sokoto United, Sporting Supreme, Ikorodu City and Beyond Limit who have all progressed to the Super 8.
