Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium ready for league actions

Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, home of Rangers International is ready for league actions and other football tournament games, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.

The work of renovation of the stadium popularly known as the Cathedral started in 2022 and was declared ready for actions yesterday by popular sports journalist, Emeka Nwani via his twitter page.

In september, Enugu commissioner for sports, Llyod Ekweremadu stated that the stadium will be ready for use by Novemeber. However, the renovation work wasn't completed until this month.

Rangers have played their home games at the Awka City Stadium, Anambra since the renovation began in 2022.

Fidelis Ilechukwu side will be happy to return to their natural habitat as they continue their push for a place in the continent.
