Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie delivered a commanding performance on Sunday as Brighton & Hove Albion Women secured a 1–0 victory over London City Lionesses in their Barclays Women’s Super League clash, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Brighton took an early lead through Kiko Seike, who struck in the sixth minute. The visitors responded with sustained pressure and greater possession, but Nnadozie’s brilliance between the posts ensured the slim advantage held until full-time.

The Nigerian international recorded five saves, with four coming in the first half as London City pressed for an equaliser. She added another crucial stop in the second half, calmly dealing with the Lionesses’ only shot on target after the break.

Her composure under pressure and excellent reading of the game proved decisive, allowing Brighton to withstand long spells of dominance from the visitors. The clean sheet also highlighted her growing influence and consistency since joining the club.

The win keeps Brighton in seventh place in the WSL standings on 14 points, narrowing the gap on the teams above. For Nnadozie, it was another standout outing in what has been an impressive debut campaign in England.
