The Nationwide League One has put out a notice stating that De Royal Stars FC of Abuja have submitted a medical report from the teaching hospital in Abuja which cleared their players of any health concern, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The announcement further states that the NLO Chief Medical Director has assessed the medical report submitted by the club.
This comes hours after the league body released a list of 55 players who have not been certified medically fit for the start of the league by the NLO Medical team in which De Royal Stars FC players are part of.
"Sequel to the Red Flag placed on 6 of its players by NLO Medical Team, De Royal Stars FC, Abuja has gone for further medical assessment of the affected players.
The teaching hospital has cleared them and our NLO Chief Medical Director has assessed them." A tweet from the NLO Media read.
The NLO had released the names of 55 players who are on the red flag list for health reasons and had advised clubs to deregister the affected players pending further assessment of the players are made and be cleared fit to play competitive football.
