Barely 24 hours to the quarter-final clash against Super Falcons, Head Coach of the Indomitable Lionesses Gabriel Zabo says Nigeria's time is up.
Ever before now, the Lionesses have found Super Falcons a hard-nut to crack in their previous meetings with only one victory against the country's national women team in the history of the African Women Cup of Nations.
During a press conference on Wednesday Zabo said their target is to go to the world cup.
"We want to go to the world cup and for that, we have to win this game
"I think Nigeria's time is up and we have to tell them that their time is up and we are going to put their back to the ground.
"We animate a game system mainly according to the opponent. We know Nigeria and we are going to set up a system to put them in difficulty. I'm not going to give you my game system," he said.
Both sides will compete for a place in the semi-final of the competition and a 2023 world cup ticket to Australia and New Zealand.
