Nigeria's Super Falcons and Banyana Banyana arrive in South Africa for Olympic qualifier

The Super Falcons of Nigeria have touched down in South Africa for the pivotal second leg of their 2024 Olympic Games qualifying clash against the Banyana Banyana of South Africa, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Under the leadership of coach Randy Waldrum, the Nigerian squad according to Daily Post landed in Lagos on Sunday afternoon before boarding an Air Peace flight to O.R. Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg.

The team is anticipated to reach Pretoria later today, gearing up for their upcoming showdown.

Just as the Falcons, the African champions landed their home country on Sunday, in preparation for the return leg.

Scheduled to take place at Pretoria's Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Tuesday, the Super Falcons will face off against Banyana Banyana in a match set to commence at 6:30 pm Nigeria time.

Heading into the second leg, the Super Falcons maintain a narrow 1-0 advantage, setting the stage for an intense encounter.
