Nigeria's Super Eagles have slipped two places in the latest FIFA men's ranking, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The finalist at the recent CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeria moved to 30 in the world down from 28th while also making it into the top three in Africa just behind Senegal and Morocco.
In their recent fixtures, the Super Eagles played two friendly matches, securing a 2-1 victory against long-standing rivals Ghana but suffering a 2-0 defeat at the hands of the Eagles of Mali.
The top five teams on the continent are rounded out by the Pharaohs of Egypt and 2023 AFCON winner, Elephants of Cote d'Ivoire.
Meanwhile, the top three nations in the world are world champions, Argentina followed by France and Belgium in third.
