OFFICIAL:Nigerian Youngster Nwokolor Makes Loan Move To Bosnia

Published on: 13 July 2016

Highly rated Nigerian goalkepper David Nwokolor has joined Bosnia Premiership side Vitez on loan for the rest of the season from Croatian side HNK Rijeka. Nwokolor has been second choice goalkepper at Rijeka before going to second division side Sibenik last season where he distinguished himself for the team who narrowly missed out on promotion to the top flight.

The 20 year old made 16 appearances for Sibenik rising from second choice to first choice goal tender displacing highly experienced Hrvoje Slavica.

Last season he was the only teen goalkepper from Nigeria who was first choice for an European side, a sign of how much he is highly rated by the Croatian side.

Plucked from Football Academy Abuja, he is one among the several Nigerian teen on the books of Rijeka although only Theophilus Solomon,Gerald Diyoke and Goodness Ajayi are in the first team of the Europa League campaigners.
