Nigerian U-20 forward Tolulope Ojo joins Pyramid FC

Egyptian Premier League giants Pyramids FC have completed the signing of Nigerian U-20 forward Tolulope Ojo, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The 19 year old who joined as a free agent after time at Remo Stars completed his medical and signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the club.

He was impressive the Ikenne base club in the 2021/2022 season which resulted in his invitation to the U-20 national side before joining second place Pyramid FC in the Egyptian league.

On what he wants to achieve at Pyramids, he said: “I look forward to a good start and help the team to achieve its dream and putting them back on top of the league to win the title.

“I am here to win trophies and the team is already in the Egyptian Cup final, so I look forward to win it.” He also talked about what attracted him to sign for Pyramids in the first place.

“I decided to sign for Pyramids because it is a team with a very big origin and one of the big teams on the whole continent of Africa. They are known for winning trophies.

“And they play good football with so many top players that I am looking forward to learn from.” Ojo scored two goals in the U-20 WAFU Cup final to help the Flying Eagles win the trophy last year.

He also played for Phoenix ASC in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti United, Bendel Insurance and Lobi Stars.
