Nigerian youngster Hyacinth Okoro Ogbonna has signed a three-year deal with Belgian Pro League club KVC Westerlo, with an option for an additional year, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Ogbonna, on his move from Dino Sporting Club to Westerlo, provides him with a platform to showcase his skills on the world stage.
The right-winger was part of the team that made a trip to the Virraggio Cup tournament in Italy with Alex Transfiguration.
The young lad will start with the KVC Westerlo U23 team.
Westerlo, who finished 11th in the Belgian Pro League last season, will be hoping Ogbonna's addition can help improve their fortunes in the upcoming campaign.
The 19-year-old's signing is seen as a promising move for both the player and the club, as Ogbonna looks to make his mark in European football.
