Nigerian winger Yusuf Lawal is now officially a player of Portuguese Primeiria Liga club, FC Arouca after the club announced his arrival, Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.
Lawal started his European sojourn with Belgian club, Lokeren in 2017, spending three years at the Azerbaijani club before moving to Neftci PFK.
The 24 year old, a prodigy of 36 Lions, a Lagos based football academy has claimed he joined GC Arouca because of their close connection with the fans.
I chose FC Arouca because it’s a beautiful club, with a very close connection with the fans,” Lawal told the club’s official website.
“I want to help the team to achieve the best ranking possible. I will do my best and fight with the team.”
The pacy winger made 88 appearances across all competitions for Neftci PFK scoring six goals and and registering 19 assists.
