Nigerian Community Welcomes Enyimba Ahead Of CAF Champions League Tie With Sundowns

The Nigerian community in South Africa said they would give Enyimba maximum support when they play Mamelodi Sundowns in a CAF Champions League match.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Enyimba arrived in South Africa early on Monday for their clash against the South Africans on Wednesday.

President of Nigeria Union, South Africa, Ikechukwu Anyene, said on phone from Johannesburg that Enyimba would receive full support of Nigerians during their match.

“Some members of the Nigerian community were at the airport early today (Monday) to receive the team. We thank God for journey mercies and we are assuring them of maximum support when they play Sundowns in Wednesday’s game,” he said.

Anyene said Enyimba’s coach, Paul Aigbogun, assured them that the team would do well.

“We are optimistic that the team will do well and we will mobilise Nigerians to cheer them to victory on match day,” he said.
