Nigeria and Russia are set to clash in an international friendly in 2025, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
FIFA match agent Jairo Pachon is spearheading efforts to organize the encounter.
According to Russian journalist Bartlomiej Banasiew, the two nation will have a go at each other in 2025.
"Our representatives are cooperating with the Russia Football Federation on the organisation of a friendly match between Russia and Nigeria," Pachon confirmed.
"This match is about as good as it gets," he added.
The fixture is expected to take place within the FIFA window, with organizers finalizing the venue.
This highly anticipated match will mark the first-ever meeting between Nigeria and Russia at the senior level.
