Nigeria Striker Auctions Shirt For Charity

While the the season of Christmas approaches, company, firms and individuals year see the need to give back to their fans or the society at large.

Cremonese this time took a different approach to reach out to people and also to raise fund for charity organizations one of which include auctioning an autographed jersey of their top players.

Nigerian striker Cyriel Desser today is the sixth player whose autographed Home shirt will be up for auction. He also expected to feature in a charity match before Christmas.

According to the official website of Cremonese, “the base price of the auction of the shirt (prepared and complete with all the sponsors and the "Serie A" patch) is €50, and the duration (as for all Grigiorosso Advent auctions) will be 7 days.”

The total proceeds of these auctions, will be donated in equal parts to some associations and realities of the third sector of the territory.

The first is Caritas of Cremona and its "Isla de Burro" project through which interventions of therapeutic value are carried out aimed at the treatment of disorders of the physical, neuro- and psychomotor, cognitive, emotional and relational spheres.
