The 2024–25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season is set to kick off on Saturday, August 31, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The league organizers made this known via its X platform on Wednesday evening.
Rangers last weekend emerge the winner of the just concluded season taking home a giant trophy and N150 million for their eighth NPFL title.
Remo Stars and Enyimba finished in second and third positions, respectively.
While four Sporting Lagos, Doma United, Heartland, and Gombe United relegated, Beyond Limit, Nasarawa United, El-Kanemi Warriors and Ikorodu United will complete the 20 team league formate for the new season.
