Nigeria have named three overseas-based pros on their squad for this year’s FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Papua New Guinea, which begins on Sunday, November 13.
The pros are goalkeeper Christy Ohiaeriaku from Swedish club IFKL Stersund and strikers Chinwendu Ihezuo from BIIK Kazygurt of Kazakhstan and Aminat Yakubu of Minsk FC based in Belarus,
Nigeria U20 Women’s team are led by coach Peter Dedevbo and they will fly out of the country on Sunday evening.
Nigeria, who finished as runners-up at the 2014 edition in Canada, will play Japan on November 13 before matches against Canada and Spain respectively in the group phase.
