Oliseh resigned from his position as Super Eagles coach last week, eight months into his three-year contract. The former Nigeria captain cited contract breaches and a lack of support from the NFF as parts of his reasons for quitting.

While the NFF claim they have paid Oliseh all his entitlements, he insists he has not received any payment. Oliseh is therefore seeking redress in court for the false allegations that he was paid the sum of? N20 million, being salaries for three months (December 2015, January 2016 and February 2016) and half-year rent for July-December 2015 before he resigned on the 25th of February.

He is also going to court because he feels his reputation has been deliberately damaged.
