Nigeria Football Federation president, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, has challenged the Flying Eagles to secure victory against Burkina Faso in their upcoming WAFU B U20 tournament opener in Lome, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
During a visit to the team's camp at Theresia Residence Hotel, Gusau emphasized the importance of winning and booking a ticket to next year's AFCON U20 tournament.
"The NFF will provide all necessary support for the team to excel," he assured.
Gusau's motivational visit aims to inspire the Flying Eagles to excel in the competition and defend their title.
The Flying Eagles face Burkina Faso on Friday, and a strong start will be crucial to their campaign.
