NFF charges U-17, U-20 teams to go for world cup tickets

The Nigeria Football Federation has charged the Junior national teams ahead of their African Cup of Nations engagements in February and April respectively to go for the World Cup berth when the tournaments begins, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Nigeria football body at its executive meeting on Monday amongst other resolutions urged the cadet teams to go all out to secure qualification for the two World Cups in their category.

The Excos expressed satisfaction with the preparations of the teams ahead of the AFCON and  promised to provide all necessary support to the team as well as motivate the squads in an extra way to attain their objectives

The Nigeria U-20 team, Flying Eagles will trade tackles with Egypt, Senegal and Mozambique in group A of the U-20 AFCON in Egypt this February while the U-17 Golden Eaglets will play Morocco, South Africa and Zambia in group B of tournament to hold in Algeria in April.
