"?Newcastle striker Dwight Gayle is disappointed to have been forced off with a hamstring injury during the Magpies 2-1 win over Brentford on Saturday, but is hoping to return to the action very soon.
The former Crystal Palace man was on target for his side, becoming the first player since the legendary Alan Shearer to score 20 goals for Newcastle in a single season.

Gayle's performance has ensured that the team begins their week at the top of the standings in the Championship, and it's rather unfortunate that he's suffered this setback
"Obviously, it was frustrating to come off, but the three points was the most important thing," said Gayle, via the "?Shields Gazette.
"I was buzzing that the boys ground three points out. There was a real buzz in the changing room."
Dwight Gayle deserved a run though... he did score goals for Palace. If Newcastle play him consistently next year he will score goals. https://t.co/Tl3JjTH2GV
The striker could be facing several weeks out of the team, but has yet to know for sure how bad the injury really is.
"It was a hamstring," he said "I had it last season as well.
"Fingers crossed it's not too bad, but we won't know the full extent of it for a few days. We'll see how it goes."
"We knew what their team was about," he continued, speaking on the way the way the match turned out.
"We were playing on the counter-attack, and I thought it worked really well. "I was frustrated to come off in a game where it was perfectly made for myself."
