Multiple reports are rife about the return of Nigeria Professional Football League experience forward, Ndifreke Effiong to former league champions, Akwa United.
It will be recalled that Nigeriasoccernet.com had reported on Tuesday that the striker parted ways with his Libyan club, Al Ahli Bengahzi due to breach of contract.
However, the player now looks set to go back "home" to continue his football playing career for the time.
The striker had left the club mid way during the 2020/2021 NPFL season, where he was top goal scorer for the club before Charles Atshimene took off from where he stopped.
