Nigeria Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has described his switch in playing position from a number 6 to an 8 in Leicester City as difficult at first, but it became natural later on, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Coach Enzo Maresca moved Ndidi to a more attacking position upon his return from injury, a decision that saw the Nigerian score.

The Leicester City midfielder while speaking with Arise TV disclosed he had a great season despite the injury which lead to him missing out on the African Cup of Nations.

"It was an amazing season, moving from a number 6 to a number 8 was quiet difficult for the first two, three games, but when I got comfortable it became natural for me."

"So far the season was good, got injured and missed out on the AFCON, but coming back, got my feet back, it was an amazing season." He said.
