Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has revealed that midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is on track to return to training next week, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Ndidi, 27, has been sidelined since being withdrawn in the 58th minute of Leicester's 2-2 draw with Brighton on 28 December.
However, Van Nistelrooy has provided a positive update on the Nigerian international's fitness, saying: "Wilf is making good progress in his rehabilitation. Hopefully, he can be a part of team training at some point next week."
Ndidi has registered four assists in 15 league appearances for Leicester this season, and his return to training will be a welcome boost for the Foxes ahead of their match against Tottenham on Sunday.
