Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been ruled out of Leicester City’s Carabao Cup game against Arsenal on Wednesday.

The defensive midfielder picked up the injury that ruled him out of the game in Leicester’s 4 – 2 victory over Burnley on Sunday.

Ndidi featured in both Leicester City’s premier league game this season, but his injury is a big blow for Brenda Rodgers who drafted him to the defense for both games.

Leicester City will now be going into the game without the Nigerian, Wes Morgan, and Johnny Evans, with Caglar Soyuncu the only fit defender available for selection.

Wilfred Ndidi could also miss Nigeria’s friendlies against Cote d’ivoire and Tunisia due to the injury.

Meanwhile, Kelechi Iheanacho is in line to make his first appearance of the season for Leicester City tonight.
